Recycling Program

Reduce, reuse, recycle a simple phrase we have all heard to help our environment and most have embraced in some manner. One area we can help, is to recycle the plastic containers our plants are grown in. We are happy to take your used plastic plant containers, thoroughly clean and sanitize them and reuse them for future plants. Last year we had nearly 25% of the 4-inch containers used, returned to us for recycling!

To participate, simply bring your used plant containers to the greenhouse and drop them in the designated area at the back of the greenhouses. We are able to recycle most plastic containers with the exception of, plant tags and 6-pack plastic containers. We also offer free to the public excess containers that we can’t use or have more than we need. Please let us know if you need containers and we will do what we can to help.
