Very easy to assemble. The stand is really sturdy and it can be taken apart to store. You’d have to try really hard to knock it over even without the weight of the water. Works best with a 10-inch trunk at the base. It also helps to ensure that all of the bumps and burrs are smoothed off the trunk so that the collars have full contact with the tree.
