White Oak
Quercus alba
White oak will slowly grow into a stately rounded, irregular grown. Many forms of wildlife feed on the acorns during the fall and winter including: Red-headed woodpeckers, turkey, deer, quail, chimpmunks and even ducks. It is a larval food source for a number of Hairstreak butterflies.
